  1. Lots of training going on over the last few weeks in preparation for a half Marathon in Malvern on the 7th Jun 2009. Also training for Kung-FU grading next weekend the 13th / 14th Jun 2009.

    Sorry about the Half Marathon, but my got damaged shopping on the Saturday before the Race :-(. So no race on that day.

    Still damaged for the grading so no grading either, So a bit p***ed to say the least.

    Back in training again, ready for the next grading September 19th & 20th 2009. Should be ok for that one.

  3. Spinning kicks – will there is an easy way to practice a hard way.

    1. Use your head.
    2. Think about a spring.
    3. Start low.
    4. It all in the hips.

    I know this is little bit strange but when you understand the answers the kicks will work. Good luck.

  4. Hard training for the last few weeks doing 10 rounds on the bags, 200 situps and 100 press -ups.

    Going to be the same number of the rounds for a few months and then pick in the pace in the couple of rounds all out.

    Peak flow is improving now upto about 530.

  5. Training is getting harder as only doing one day a week on Thursday, Not trained in Cheltenham since the crash probably go down tommorow.

    Have been working on my fitness however.

  6. More training this week as back after the Christmas Holidays.
    – Been working on the legs, and arms,
    – lots of legs work.
    – about 400 – 600 punches a day.

    Been training more. Car should be sorted out soon and get back to main training.

    – Change the diet eating more vegatables, and a lot less chocolate.

  7. Training is going very well, With 17 Days of training, some far. Getting ready for the 12th June 2010. 13th Blackbelt grading in Wales.

    Working the legs a lot, and doing cardio work.

    – More training tommorow morning, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday resting on Wednesday.

  8. Training has now changed, Working on flexibility, as back playing up again.
    Planning on doing the grading in September now.

  9. Back is now sorted and also found a new location to do some training. Will now start the 4 months long road of training for the grading.
